Notes
Very little was spoken
about with regards any tournament during this season. It was, as with
previous years, about individual meetings between the competing
countries. However, at the end of the last paragraph in the last
ever match report.... "This gives England the International
Championship...." and without letup, it continued with the more
important statement "....and the first victory in Scotland since 1898."
