qualify for the 2006 World Cup. The draw for the qualification groups
was held at the World Cup Preliminary Draw at Festhalle, Frankfurt,
Germany, on 5 December 2003.
A 197 teams entered, and 196 took part.
Group 6 fixtures agreed on Tuesday, 13 January 2004, in Cardiff, Wales.
For countries on the same number number of points, those with a
greater number of points obtained in the matches between the tied
teams will be placed higher.
