The squad is expected to be trimmed to 23 players later this week. Monday, 28 May 2012 - Leonardo Bonucci has been included in the Euro Squad despite being named in the latest match-fixing investigation to engulf the country. Though Domenico Cristico has been left out of the squad, after he was questioned by police for the same reason. Monday, 4 June 2012 - Andrea Barzagli will miss the group stage after being sidelined for twenty days with a calf strain he sustained in Italy's loss to Russia.
