Heeley FC, playing for them between 1878 and 1884, during which
time he also played with the Providence FC team between 1879 and 1880.
Played for three more teams during 1880, Owlerton FC, Sheffield FC and
Wednesday FC. Before the next year, he no longer played for the Providence
and Owlerton teams, but in 1882, was in the Walkley FC team. Played his
last match for Sheffield in 1883, his last match for Heeley a year later,
and in 1885, played his final match in Wednesday colours. In 1886, joined
Blackburn Olympic FC, but returned to his hometown when he was playing for
the newly formed Sheffield United FC between 1889 and 1891. |
