Club(s) Started with Witton FC, before joining with Blackburn Rovers FC in 1888, making 58 league appearances, scoring three goals, from 1888 until 1892, when he joined Accrington FC, making nine league appearances, scoring once. Joined Northwich Victoria FC in 1893, making five league appearances. He then joined Middlesbrough FC. Lack of first team opportunities saw him move to the Southern League with Millwall Athletic FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC. He played with Clapton FC and Wandsworth FC before retiring.
