Playing Career


Club(s)
Started his career in the Southampton FC youth team, where he had been since the age of seven. He rose through the ranks, achieving a place in the first team squad for the 2012-13 season. Debuting in the Premier League a year later, before being signed by Arsenal FC for a £16 million transfer fee on 28 July 2014. After breaking into the first team, on 30 August 2016 Chambers joined Middlesbrough FC on a season-long loan, in a season that saw the 'Boro relegated to the Championship. He returned to The Emirates, until, on 7 August 2018, Chambers was sent out on another season-long loan, to newly promoted Fulham FC. He returned to the Arsenal first team from 2019. On 27 January 2022, Chambers joined Aston Villa FC. Following his release at the end of the following season, Chambers joined Cardiff City FC on 14 July 2024.
