where he was also captain. He was an amateur
with Arsenal FC, making four Football League appearances between
1921-22 and 1923-24, scoring three times. He signed amateur forms
with West Ham United FC in August 1924, signing professional forms a year
later, as a 28 year old. He scored 58 league goals in 256 appearances.
He joined Clapton Orient FC on 12 May 1932, retiring from playing a year
later. |
