Playing Career


Club(s)
Signed as a Nottingham Forest FC junior, before being released and becoming a Derby County FC trainee, where he signed professionally on 27 February 2004. He  joined Tottenham Hotspur FC in January 2005 for an initial fee of £600,000, rising to £2.5 million, effective 1 July 2005, and then spent the first half of the 2005-06 season on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, from 25 October 2005. After returning to Spurs, he eventually signed for Hull City AFC on 14 August 2013 for a £5½ million fee, the deal included Jake Livermore joining the Tigers on loan, up until 15 July 2017, when he returned to Derby County FC for a £2 million transfer fee. He became a free agent on 1 July 2020. After a season away from football, Huddlestone re-signed for Hull City AFC on 17 August 2021.
