Spent his junior career playing with Kingstonian FC and joined the Chelsea
FC youth academy, signing professionally on 11 January 2006, and was soon loaned to
Queen's Park Rangers FC on 16 October 2006 for the rest of the season, and
again for the following season from 20 July 2007 for the following season He was then loaned to Wolverhampton
Wanderers FC from 27 October 2008 for the remainder of that year. He
returned to Stamford Bridge and made his Chelsea debut. Mancienne secured another season on loan
at Molineux on 13 August 2009. On 31 May 2011, Chelsea sold Mancienne to
Hamburger SV for £1,752,000
and would make 49 Bundesliga appearances. He returned to England on
16 July 2014, when he signed for Stuart Pearce's Nottingham Forest FC
for £1 million, becoming
club captain in August 2017. Signed for MLS side New England Revolution on
3 August 2018, he played in 27+four MLS matches, and scored his
only league goal, home or abroad, against Seattle on 10 August 2019, and
had been sent off once. Returned to England and joined Burton
Albion FC on 10 February 2021. |
