Played schoolboy football in Staffordshire. His senior clubs
included Bell Street Primitives FC, Tipton Victoria FC and Redditch FC.
West Bromwich Albion FC signed him in May 1911. He guested for Fulham FC
and Watford FC during WW1. After resuming his career with West Bromwich
Albion FC after the war, after 287 league appearances and 118
goals, on 1 August 1924 he joined Coventry City FC. Ended his career
with Oakengates Town FC in 1925, until his retirement in 1930. |
