Marriage to Beverley M. McDonald [registered in Birmingham, June 1983]
Death Sunday night, 14 January 2018 at Grasmere Avenue, Sutton Coldfield, of a heart-attack, aged 59 years 339 days.
Funeral 30 January 2018, following a celebration of his life at The Hawthorns.

Club Career

Club(s) Played his schoolboy football with Borough of Brent Schools and his junior football with Ryder Brent Valley FC and Oxford & Kilburn Boys FC, from where he had a trial with Chelsea FC, unfortunately, a hamstring injury prevented his participation. From 1975-76, Regis played with Athenian League side, Mosley FC. On 7 July 1976, Regis signed for Isthmian League side, Hayes FC. After being spotted by scout Ronnie Allen, in May 1977, West Bromwich Albion FC signed Regis for a £10,000 total transfer fee. After 81 goals in 241 Division One appearances, Regis signed for Coventry City FC for £300,000 in October 1984, where he scored another 47 goals in 238 Division One appearances. Aston Villa FC signed Regis in the 1991 summer, rejoining Ron Atkinson, and made another 52 Division One/Premier League appearances, scoring twelve goals. Joined Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in 1993 for nineteen Division One (old Division Two) appearances, scoring twice, Wycombe Wanderers FC in 1994 for 35 Division Two appearances and nine goals and finally Chester City FC in 1995 for 27 Division Three appearances and seven goals. He retired from football in October 1996, eight months after playing his final game.
