Cameroon coach Winfried Schafer kept faith with the same
players who clinched the African Nations Cup when he named his 23-man squad
for the World Cup finals today. The squad
includes Patrick Mboma, the Parma player currently on loan at English
Premiership side Sunderland, who has been suffering from an Achilles tendon
injury. Cameroon are drawn in Group E at the
World Cup along with Germany, Ireland and Saudi Arabia.
