Diary
Friday, 28 October 2005 -
Inter Milan striker Julio Ricardo Cruz has been recalled to the Argentina
squad for the friendly with England in Geneva on 12 November. Cruz has
been in impressive form for Inter this season and will be hoping to claim his
place in the World Cup squad after being left out of the 2002 squad. Javier Zanetti is also in the 22-man squad, having missed four games since
winning his 101st cap in June. Argentina will travel to Qatar after the
England game for another friendly.
