"At the conclusion of Saturday's International match at Dublin, Robertson, one of the Scottish forwards, made an attempt to secure the ball, which, however, was kicked back into the field by one of the spectators on the touch-line. Robertson then, it is alleged, kicked the spectator, who had to be conveyed to hospital. The Scotsman was taken into custody, and meanwhile the crowds attacked the pavilionin which the Scottish team had taken refuge, breaking some windows, but after a while dispersed. Several officials of the Irish Association proceeded to the police-station, and on their signing a bond to indemnify the injured spectator against medical expenses Robertson was released. At Dublin Police-court yesreday five men, two of whom gave addresses in Glasgow, were charged with loitering with intent at Daymount Park. They are remanded until to-morrow, as some cases of larceny from the ground had been reported." - Eastern Evening News, Tuesday, 18 March 1913
