Thursday, 5 November 2015 - Didier Deschamps names his squad for the friendly matches against Germany and England next week.

Monday, 9 November 2015 - Mamadou Sakho has withdrawn from the squad for this week's friendlies. Sakho suffered the strain of the right knee playing for Liverpool in the Premier League defeat against Crystal Palace yesterday. The uncapped Loic Perrin has been called up as a replacement.

Friday, 13 November 2015 - In what turns out to be a disastrous night for Paris, France beat World Champions Germany by two goals, one each from Giroud and GIgnac. But the victory is marred by the terrorist acts that were going on in and around the stadium and Paris itself. It does put the friendly against England in doubt, but any doubt in the match should be, why would they play it?

Saturday, 14 November 2015 - Three days of mourning is declared in France. The FFF decide to go ahead with the friendly match against England. It is also confirmed that Lassana Diara's cousin was one of the 129 vićtims, and that Antoine Griezmann's sister was one of the survivors from the Bataclan theatre massacre, where 89 of those people had died. Three suicide bombers died in blasts outside the Stade de France.

Sunday, 15 November 2015 - All 23 France players will travel to London to face England after turning down the option to withdraw following the terrorist attacks.
