Monday, 14 May 2018 - Óscar Ramírez has announced his 23-man squad that he plans to take to Russia for the World Cup Finals, in which the presence of right-back Ian Smith and Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, stands out. The players Yendrick Ruíz, Kenner Gutiérrez, David Ramírez and Wílmer Azofeifa were on the standby list and will be part of the camp prior to the World Cup.
