Friday, 7 November 2025, 10am - Team coach Sylvinho has announced his list of 26 players who have been invited to take part in Albania's final World Cup qualification matches this month, against Andorra and England and Andorra.

Monday, 10 November 2025 - The Albanian national team started preparations in Barcelona. In the opening training session, most of the players who have arrived trained, while tonight it is expected that the group will be completed with the arrival of Thomas Strakosha, Nedim Bajrami and Mirlind Daku. The group of players first trained in the gym and then went down to the field for various tactical exercises. Berat Gjimshiti and Arbër Hoxha trained only in the gym, with a focus on recovery, since they played with their clubs yesterday.

Tuesday, 11 November 2025 - The Albanian national team continues with preparations in Barcelona. In their training session, coach Silvinjo and his technical staff had all the players gathered available.

Wednesday, 12 November 2025 - The Football Federation announces that all tickets for the Albania-England match have been sold. The Football Federation have thanked all the Albanian fans who have decided to be present at the 'Air Albania' stadium on November 16, in support of our national team and invites them to create a warm and as positive atmosphere as possible. At the same time, the Football Federation also calls on the fans of the National Team, who have not been able to get tickets for this match so important for everyone, to continue to support our representative with passion and pride.
The squad arrive in Andorra, and have a training session in the early evening.

Thursday, 13 November 2025 - Andorra 0 Albania 1 - Albania secure a play-off spot for the first time in their history, following a victory over Andorra. The goal came from Kristjan Asllani in the 67th minute.
