The Lyrics
Do you wanna thug
Do you wanna thug
Do you wanna thug love (baby yeah)
I'm a funky kinda gal (yeah
Do you wanna thug
Do you wanna thug
Do you wanna thug love (baby yeah)
I'm a funky kinda gal
You said you had a system
But things broke down despite our wisdom
Same time, same place, same way
Our hearts were drawn a closer
In a general planetary motion
With only light years away
I think about the days and
what tomorrows bring
I think about the colours in the sky
I dream about the seasons that surround me yeah
As true love is forever and ever and ever and ever ...!!
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Don't hold me back
My heart is under attack from you
You said, it's all so risky
Maybe play it down and take it easy
Same time, same place, same way
You said we had ambition
But it's one more lie in a second addition
I think it's better that way
I think about the glory of the wonderland
I sit amongst the madness of it all
I thought if natures love would be forever yeah
And she said true love is forever and ever and ever and ever
(yeah)...!!
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Don't hold me back
My heart is under attack from you
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Thug lovin'
Thug thug loving
Don't hold me back
My heart is under attack from you
Harmonica solo (yeah hey)
Guitar solo
I'm a funky kinda girl, in a funky kinda world yeah yeah...

Notes
Victoria Pope
release Thug Lovin
Dedicated to the 1966 World Cup team
London, UK 1st October 2006
Victoria Pope has just finished her third single titled 'Thug
Lovin' having spent the last 4 months in the studio writing and
laying vocals.
Thug Lovin may have a hard exterior but the lyrics are extremely
surprising - hence: 'never judge a book by its cover!'.
Victoria spent most of her childhood watching football and it's
been a major part of her life. Her late father was a
football manager and her brother soon followed suit and is a
successful football manager himself, so she knew the off side
rule before most of us.
The track is a welcomed break from mainstream pop songs and is
extremely catchy yet the chorus is not over played so you are
not completely over indulging your senses. It's a song to
make people think.
We all witnessed the sense of euphoria during the World Cup 2006
and would wish that every nation could be as united always as
they were during that period of time. When looking back to
the '66 team she remembers her father reflecting the joy and
happiness the whole country felt when watching Bobby Moore raise
the World Cup for the nation surrounded by players such as;
Bobby Charlton, Nobby Stiles and the great Sir Alf Ramsey.
Victoria has managed to capture present and past lovers of
football. A must have track for everybody!
