Full name Peter Phillip Bonetti
Born 27 September 1941 in Putney, London [registered as Peter [no 'P'] in Wandsworth, December 1941].
Attended St Mary's RC Primary School, Worthing.
Married twice, firstly to Francis T. Jennings [registered in Worthing, Sussex, June 1962], then
to Kay V. McDowell
[registered in Birmingham, August 1992]. Four children, Susanne, Kim, Nicholas and Lisa.
Height/Weight 5' 10", 11st. 3lbs [1968].

Club Career

Club(s) Started his career with Worthing RC Youth Club. Bonetti joined Chelsea FC as an amateur in 1958, turning professional in April 1959. In the summer of 1975, after 495 league appearances, Bonetti left for St. Louis Stars of the NASL, he made 21 league appearances, before returning to England and resigning for Chelsea. He made another 105 league appearances (total 600). He retired in May 1979. He did however sign for Dundee United FC in July 1979 for five league appearances. In February 1981, Airdrieonians FC attempted to sign him. He did however play two league matches for Woking FC in 1986.
