Playing Career


Club(s)
Started with Northallerton Junior FC and spent a year at Richmond (North Yorkshire) FC, before signing as a Nottingham Forest FC trainee, signing professionally on 23 November 2000. After Forest were struggling in the Championship, Dawson signed for Tottenham Hotspur FC on 31 January 2005 for £4 million. After nine years, Dawson returned north when Hull City AFC paid £3.5 million for him on 26 August 2014, but suffered relegation in his first season. On 30 May 2018, Dawson rejoined Nottingham Forest FC on a free transfer.
