Birth 30 September 1898 in Wanstead, Essex [registered in West Ham, December 1898].
 

According to the 1901 census, Frederick is the only child to Frederick Richard and Emma.  They live at 46 Mansfield Road in Wanstead. His father is a commercial clerk.

 

According to the 1911 census, Frederick Harold is now the elder of two sons. His father is still a clerk and they all still live at 46 Mansfield Road.
According to his Royal Artillery attestation, Ewer joined the artillery as a driver on 14 June 1920 in Finsbury. He is a clerk living with his father at Hillcroft, 6 Wellesley Road in Wanstead. He had already served as a gunner in the Honourable Artilery Company and the Royal Field Artillery since 1917.

  According to the 1921 census, Frederick Harold is a clerk in the stock exchange (for CJ Whittington) and is the oldest of two sons still living at home with their parents at 6 Wellesley Road in Wanstead.
Marriage to Kathleen B. King [registered in West Ham, Essex, September 1923]. Two children, Ian F. (b.1928) and Kathleen H. (b.1931).
  According to the 1939 register, Frederick H., a member of the stock exchange, is married to Kathleen B., and are living at Brook End in Great Easton, Dunmow.
Death 29 January 1971 in Chelmsford, aged 72 years 121 days [registered in Chelmsford, Essex, March 1971]
