Green in Par, Tywardreath, Cornwall. |

census, Vincent has two more younger siblings. His father is a labourer on
the railway whilst Vincent was a mechanical engineer on the locomotives.
The census reveals that George and Rosa had six children, and one had died.
They are all living in 31 South Street in Osney. |

his football career with St. Frideville FC, before joining Oxford City FC. He then travelled to Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic FC and then sold to
Bolton Wanderers FC in January 1923 for a £1000 transfer fee. Joined Tranmere Rovers FC in the 1924-25 close season. Then following
three goals in 84 league appearances, joined Sheffield United FC
on 23 July 1927 for a 'substantial fee'. Joined Shamrock Rovers FC in May 1931 and
onto Oswestry Town FC in the Birmingham League as their player-manager. Finally joined
Shrewsbury Town FC in June 1935 until his retirement. |
