Club Career

Club(s) A Liverpool FC trainee, before signing professionally on 27 April 1999.  Warnock was loaned to Bradford City FC on 13 September 2002, playing twelve league appearances, scoring once, and then loaned to Coventry City FC on 31 July 2003 on a season-long loan playing 44 league matches, scoring three. After forty Premier League appearances at Liverpool, with one goal, Warnock joined Blackburn Rovers on 22 January 2007 for £1.5 million, but after 88 league appearances and five goals, he joined Aston Villa FC for £6 million on 27 August 2009. On 21 September 2012, he joined Bolton Wanderers FC for a three month loan, playing fifteen Championship matches. After 84 Premier League appearances for Villa, in which he scored twice, Warnock joined Leeds United AFC on 31 January 2013. After 64 league appearances and three goals, on 15 January 2015, Derby County FC signed Warnock, and he made 27 Championship appearances up until he joined Wigan Athletic FC on loan on 7 March 2016. He made eleven League One appearances and made the move a permanent one on 30 May 2016, effective 1 July. He made 45 Championship appearances before he joined Burton Albion FC on 26 June 2017, where he scored once in fourteen Championship appearances, before he joined Bradford City FC on loan for the remainder of the season on 26 January 2018. He announced his retirement on 13 April 2018. Making thirteen League One appearances.
