England's second bespoke women's kit was pure white in the Nike Vapor template, and devoid of the maroon edgings, but with a cut-diamond theme in its knitted structure.

The most eye-catching feature of the kit was its iridescent emblems, however. On the home kit, they had a metallic blue-ish hue, but appeared in different colours depending on how the light caught them. To buy a match replica shirt would set you back a cool £114.95, which also raised a few eyebrows.

With England hosting the European Championship a year late, due to the pandemic, the kit was held back until the eve of the tournament, but it was well worth the wait, as Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses roared to their first major title on an unforgettable evening at Wembley.

The kit would forever be associated with England's triumph, and the team won all 13 games in which they wore it, although it was only worn for eight months, because of its late arrival.
