Thursday, 14 March 2024 - Belgium's Football Association announced that their Head Coach, Domenico Tedesco, has signed two-year extension to his contract. Shortly afterwhich, the first squad of 2024 is released, conrtaining the names of 25 players.

Tuesday, 19 March 2024 - Romelu Lukaku is not fit for the game with Republic of Ireland due to a slightly overloaded groin. He left the camp but will travel with the team to Dublin, and then to London next week.

Friday, 22 March 2024 - Charles De Ketelaere withdraws from the squad because of a minor adductor injury.

Saturday, 23 March 2024 - Republic of Ireland 0 Belgium 0 - Evan Ferguson missed an early penalty for the Republic of Ireland as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Belgium in a friendly at the Aviva Stadium. In John O'Shea's first game as interim manager, Ferguson saw his tame spot-kick saved by Belgium goalkeeper Matz Sels. At the other end, Caoimhin Kelleher denied Thomas Meunier from close range.

Tuesday morning, 26 March 2024 - Koen Casteels returned to his club, Wolfsburg.
