Wednesday, 22 May 2024 - Åge Hareide has named a 24 man squad that will face England and Netherlands next month.
Wednesday, 5 June 2024 - The team is currently training at
TSG Elite Training & Performance Centre, QPR's training ground, in Heston, in preparation for the friendly against England at Wembley on Friday.
Åge Hareide has had to make changes to the squad since it was announced. Willum Þór Willumsson and Orri Steinn Óskarsson are injured and cannot participate in the games, and Sævar Atli Magnússon has been called up to the squad, which now counts 23 players.
Later in the day, it was announced that Hlynur Freyr Karlsson and Mikael Egill Ellertsson are also injured and will not be involved, they are to be replaced by Valgeir Lunddal Friðriksson and Logi Tómasson.
