After
a year of sharing with the men's kit, the women branched out again with
their own kit to defend their European Championship title in Switzerland.
There was an obvious inspiration from the
Admiral men's kit of 1980,
even with the same shade of blue, with a modern twist of the red and
blue sections merging into one another at the edges. It was a pleasingly
bright, optimistic look.
