Notes

This tournament was intended to serve as a trial run for the host nation and participating teams a year ahead of World Cup 1994. By the time the tournament began, England's hopes of World Cup qualification hung by a thread, and their tournament performances gave ample warning the thread would break.  It did, and England had no return trip to the U.S.A. in 1994.
