intertwined with his appearances with Middlesbrough FC. In the 1902-03
season, he helped Athletic progress through the FA Cup, beating Everton FC
in a quarter-final ties on 7 March 1903, then played a League match with
Middlesbrough against Grimsby Town FC a week later, and then returned for
Millwall a week after that, for an unsuccessful FA Cup semi-final against
Derby County FC at Villaa Park. |
