Profile |
|
Full name |
Thomas Graham |
|
Born |
12 March 1905 in Medomsley, near Consett, county Durham [registered in
Lanchester, Durham, June 1905]. |
|
Birth/census notes |
There
was a confusion here, there were two dates given by Lamming as a date of
birth. The other being 5 March 1907. The fact is, there was a Thomas
Graham registered in each of the three years in June 1905, June 1906 and
June 1907. Only the 1911 census return could confirm the correct Thomas
Graham. Being the only one in Hamsterley Colliery, but stated as
being born in Medomsley. The correct birthdate is also stated on his
death registration. |
|
Census Notes |
According to the 1911
census, the six year-old Thomas is the fifth of eight children to his
mining father, John Edward and Mary Ann. They live at 14 Prospect Terrace
in Hamsterley. |
|
Died |
29 March 1983, aged
78 years 17 days
[registered in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire]. |
