Began his football
career with Darley Vale FC. Shortly followed by Farnworth FC and Farnworth
Alliance FC. Time spent with Horwich FC before he left for Everton FC late
in 1897. He made 160 league appearances, scoring
eight goals before Blackburn Rovers FC signed him on 12 May 1904
for 97 league appearances and a single goal.
Croydon Common FC signed him on 19 June 1908 and Norwich City FC in 1909,
making 138 league appearances and scoring seven
goals. Signed with Chester FC, becoming there captain in the
1913-14 season. |
