Samuel himself is a joiner's apprentice. |

Alpine Terrace. Their father is a millwright. |

with their younger daughter, Alice. |

Preston Street, Great Lever, at the time.

Alliance FC. Time spent with Horwich FC before he left for Everton FC late
in 1897. Blackburn Rovers FC signed him on 12 May 1904.
Croydon Common FC signed him on 19 June 1908 as club captain and Norwich City FC in
the first days of May 1909. Signed with Chester FC, becoming their captain in the
1913-14 season. |
