Home club Ulster CC, formed in 1873, and Ulster FC, founded in 1877.
Capacity around 7,000. Now known as the Ulidia Playing Fields
the site of the first organised football match to be played under the association rules in Ireland. It was between Scottish teams, Queen's Park FC and Caledonian FC on 24 October 1878, and named as a 'demonstration' match.
