Coach Ján Kozák announces his squad and has rung the changes
to the group that met during Euro 2016, losing the likes of Ján Mucha, Miroslav
Stoch, Vladimír Weiss and Stanislav Šesták — four players with 223
appearances between
them. Among those included are captain and former Liverpool defender Martin Škrtel, Napoli playmaker Marek Hamšík and AC Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka, while
there are call-ups for the uncapped Jakub Holúbek and Jakub Považanec.
Monday, 29 August 2016 - Robért Pich, a reserve,
has been called into the full squad as a replacement for Ondrej Duda, who
