Club Career

Club(s): Played infant football with Fulham FC, and from the age of ten, he made the move to the Chelsea FC Academy, making his reserve team debut while still a schoolboy, signing a professional contract in January 2012. On 31 August 2012, Chalobah signed loan forms with Watford FC, remaining at Vicarage Road for the season, making 38 Championship appearances, and scoring five goals. After returning to Chelsea, he was loaned out again, to Nottingham Forest FC on 19 September 2013 for four months, he made another twelve Championship appearances, scoring twice. When his Forest time was up, he was immediately loaned out again for the remainder of the season, to Middlesbrough FC, from 16 January 2014, scoring once in nineteen Championship outings. Chalobah was sent out on another four month loan on 1 September 2014. Burnley FC signed him, but only gave him four Premiership appearances, each as a substitute. On 22 January 2015, Reading FC signed him on loan for the rest of the season, scoring once in fifteen Championship appearances. The following season, on 1 September 2015, Chalobah had joined Serie A side, SSC Napoli, for a season-long loan, making just five Serie A appearances. The 2016-17 season started with Chelsea turning down loan bids from Leicester City FC, Sevilla and SSC Napolo again, for him to remain and break into the first team. He made ten Premier League appearances, before Watford FC signed him on 13 July 2017 for 6 million. He made just six Premier League appearances in his first season.
