Hudson-Odoi is another product of the Chelsea FC youth system having
joined in 2007. He made his under-18
debut in August 2016 and had a successful Youth Cup campaign. As a sixteen
year-old, he was promoted to the under-23 side, and had a part in the EFL
Trophy campaign during 2017-18, during which he also broke into the first
team squad, eventually making his debut in January 2018. On 26 January
2019, Hudson-Odoi put in a transfer request amid reports of interest
from Bayern München, but this was withdrawn two days later. On 13 March
2020, it was revealed that Callum had become the first Premier League
player and England international to be suffering with Coronavirus. He was
linked with a loan move to BVB Borussia Dortmund on Transfer Deadline Day,
31 August 2021, and a year later, linked with another loan move to
Germany, this time, Beyer 04 Leverkusen, whom he signed a season-long loan
deal with on 29 August 2022, and made his Bundesliga debut as a substitute
against SC Freiburg on 3 September. He has made seven+seven
Bundesliga appearances up until 1 April 2023. Returned to Stamford
Bridge to join Nottingham Forest FC on the summer 2023 Transfer Deadline
Day, 1 September. |

minutes are an approximation, due to the fact that many matches rarely stick to exactly ninety minutes long, allowing time for injuries and errors. |
