Description
	Yellow shirt, with white cuffs. Large embroidered emblem on left breast. Embroidered yellow star above the emblem. Lower-case 'v' in red below the emblem. A white scroll, outlined in blue, below the 'v', with the opponent's name in capitalised blue lettering within it, and the year in red below the scroll. Two embroidered white concentric diamonds on right breast. Plain red number one on reverse and in centre of chest. Surname in capitalised red lettering above number on reverse, in same font as the numbers. Yellow shorts, with yellow drawstring and white seams, sloping to the rear. Plain red number on left thigh in same font as on shirt, with two embroidered white concentric diamonds underneath. White emblem on right thigh. Plain yellow socks, with white footings.
Variations	Joe Hart wore number 12 against Mexico and number 29 against Japan. For the two World Cup fixtures, England had the SOUTH AFRICA 2010 WORLD CUP logo embroidered onto the upper right sleeve. For the last two games in which the shirt was worn, the 'v' and the year were changed to blue. For the game against Bulgaria, England had the UEFA RESPECT logo embroidered onto the upper left sleeve and the UEFA EURO 2012 QUALIFIERS logo embroidered onto the upper right sleeve. The names of England's opponents, as they appeared in the scrolls, were ALGERIA, BULGARIA, EGYPT, GERMANY, JAPAN and MEXICO. In the games against Mexico and Japan, England wore a pair of white socks, with yellow footings.
Appearances	2.5 - David James 2 - Joe Hart 1.5 - Robert Green James won the last of his 53 caps, at the age of 39, as England crashed out of the World Cup to Germany. It was the second time that he had conceded four goals in a full international. Hart made two appearances as a half-time substitute, before his full appearance on the kit's final outing, over a year later.

This yellow kit was released on 9 February 2010 alongside England's new away kit, and was given maximum exposure in the run-up to the World Cup in South Africa, but then appeared in the tournament itself, for two miserable encounters, against Algeria and Germany. It then disappeared for over a year, before a surpise swansong via a brief re-appearance in Bulgaria.
