England returned to an all-black goalkeeping
kit for the first time since 2006, with purple piping outlining the
shoulders and neckline, which like the outfield white shirt launched at the same
time, descends down through the chest.
The theme of tiny St. George crosses on the
shoulders of the white shirt is extended to cover the whole of this shirt, but
they are so small that they can only be seen in close-up and, unlike the four
colours on the white shirt, these are all grey.
This kit saw Joe Hart establish himself as England's
first choice, following the disappointment of the 2010 World Cup. |
