"suspended by his club on 30 January 2022 for allegedly physically and
sexually assaulting his
girlfriend, Harriet Robson, for which he was arrested for. He was charged
for the crime on 15 October, remanded in custody following a court
appearance on 18 October, and released on bail a day after. All charges
were dropped in February 2023, but following an internal investigation by
his club, Greenwood and United parted ways on 21 August." |

Manchester United still held Greenwood's registration, and he joined Spanish side
Getafe CF on Transfer Deadline Day, 1 September, after a proposed
move to SS Lazio fell through. He made his debut as a substitute against Osasuna on 17 September,
and made thirty+three appearances, scoring eight goals, and sent off once.
On 8 July 2024, Olympique de Marseille made an official bid for
Greenwood, and made the transfer official for a fee of £26.6 million on 18 July.
He scored twice on his Ligue One debut against Brest, and fifteen
appearances and ten goals up until 14 December 2024. |
