Playing Career |

Began as a six year old at Arsenal FC's Hale End Academy progressing through the ranks
and signing his first professional contract on 24 October 2014. After
making his first team debut in December 2014, he was sent out on a
season-long loan deal at Ipswich Town FC on 2 July 2015. After starting to
earn a place in the Arsenal starting line-up and following his England
appearances, Maitland-Niles joined West Bromwich Albion FC on loan for the
remainder of the 2020-21 season on Transfer Deadline Day, 1 February 2021.
Although he began the following season fighting for his place at Arsenal,
he was loaned to AS Roma on 8 January 2022. He made his Serie A debut on
16 January 2022, making four+one appearances.
On 1 September 2022, Maitland-Niles joined Southampton FC on a season-long
loan deal. It was announced by his club, Arsenal FC, on 16 June 2023, that
he would be released. As a free agent, Maitland-Niles joined French Ligue
1 side Olympique Lyonnias on 7 August 2023. Making 27+eleven
appearances, scoring three goals, sent off on 15 March 2024, up until 15
December 2024. |
