London schools. Played amateur with Finchley FC from 1942 whilst with the
Royal Navy. Robb had a trial with Derby County FC in November 1950, but he
signed amateur forms with Tottenham Hotspur FC in December 1951. During
with time he represented Southern Counties. He signed a professional
contract on 22 June 1953, and after 182 league appearances and 53
goals, he was forced into retiring through injury in May 1960. |

throughout his time at Tottenham, he retained that post until 1964, then
moved to Ardingley College, near Haywards Heath in Sussex, where he
