Playing Career |
Club(s) |
Began his youth career with Chelsea FC, working his way through the the
youth system, breaking into the first team during the 2014-15, but only
ever making the unused, although he did become the club's youngest
participant in the Champions League in October 2014. On 4 August 2015,
Solanke was sent out on a season-long loan to Netherlands' side SBV
Vitesse, making 25 Eredivisie appearances, scoring seven goals. He
returned to Chelsea, but only remained on the fringe. On 30 May 2017, it
was confirmed that Solanke would join Liverpool FC, with a fee set at £3
million by the transfer tribunal. On 4 January 2019, Solanke joined AFC Bournemouth for £19m., enduring a
relegation in his second season, but securing a play-off position in his
third. |
