Two embroidered white concentric diamonds on right breast, with 'UMBRO' in capitalised white lettering underneath and a registered trademark placed above the gap between the 'R' and the 'O' in white. Plain white number one on back. Long turquoise shorts with large seams, continuing the shirt pattern and bordered with navy blue. Variations
  • Tim Flowers wore an alternative pair of long black shorts against Brazil. Clean Sheets

2 - David Seaman

One curious thing to note about this shirt was that the design worn, on its first appearance, by David Seaman against Norway (right) was different to that pictured (above left), of Tim Flowers from 1995.

The half-diamond turquoise and purple lines were positioned differently, and this is also evident on the picture to the right of Flowers' shirt, worn by Paul Heritage for the Under-16s in the Nordic Cup in 1994. So, the following year brought a very subtle change as it could still be described as the same style, but noticeable on close inspection.

The photo of the shirt on the left was supplied by www.urmyhero.co.uk and is the one worn by Flowers against Sweden, whilst the other two pictures are of a number-one shirt worn by Heritage in the Nordic Cup, and is part of Ed Holland's Wolves Football Shirts Instagram collection.
