Description
	Blue shirt with curved black line around each upper sleeve and thick black hem around the reverse of the shirt, rising to a point at each side. Black triangular shard under each armpit and rising from each cuff to a point. Slim rectangular mesh panel down each side, bending towards the reverse, with a black border at each end. Embroidered emblem on left breast, bordered in gold, with 'ENGLAND' in capitalised white lettering inside a navy blue panel, also bordered in gold, above the emblem. Small gold holographic star above the panel, containing an emblem, with 'ENGLAND' in capitalised navy blue lettering inside a white panel above the emblem. Two embroidered white concentric diamonds on right collarbone. Gold mesh number one on reverse and on right breast, underneath the Umbro logo, in same font as previous England shirts. Large black triangular shard extending down from waistband at top of each seam, extending outwards and ending in a point. Two embroidered white concentric diamonds on left thigh. Variations	In the three games played in the World Cup, England had a full-colour FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY 2006 logo heat-pressed onto the upper right sleeve. For the last three matches in which this shirt was worn, England had the UEFA EURO 2008 logo heat-pressed onto the upper right sleeve. Against Hungary, the number on the front of the shirt was positioned in the centre of the chest, matching those of the outfield shirts. Thanks to Daniel Gellatley for spotting this. David James wore number 13 against Jamaica. The names of England's opponents, as they appeared in the match details, were ANDORRA, ECUADOR, HUNGARY, JAMAICA, MACEDONIA, PORTUGAL, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO and URUGUAY. England were named first in all but the game in Macedonia, where they were named second.

Although this kit was launched alongside England's red change kit, prior to the 2006 World Cup, it became the first choice outfit for seven months. Paul Robinson continued to dominate the position, in all games, apart from a second-half cameo from David James against Jamaica, with England already four goals to the good.
