 England
released this all-black kit, seemingly for the 2022 World Cup, on 21
September. It was a design that was almost devoid of
significant features, aside from slightly different shades of anthracite
	  grey around curved
	  sections of the shirt.
However, it was not the first choice, and it was six months
later, when the Under-21s wore it for the first time, against France. It
was then a further six months before it found its way into a
full-international dressing room, almost a full year since a replica had
	  been on sale. |
