Description
	Speed Red short-sleeved v-neck shirt, with rounded obsidian collar and an abstract shadow pattern of lions, star and ENG script. Thin, white piping on each shoulder, from front to back of the shirt. Obsidian cuffs with a red hoop, bordered in white, and obsidian side-seams with white piping down front edge, continuing down to the hem beyond the end of the obsidian panel. Emblem in centre of breastbone, with a gold star above it, and obsidian Swoosh below it. The opponent's name in capitalised white lettering below the Swoosh, with the date in white below the opponent's name (e.g. 27.03.26). White number on chest below the date, and on back of shirt in same font as on white shirt, bordered in obsidian. Small obsidian emblem with obsidian star above it, at base of each digit on back. White surname on back, above the number, in same font as on white shirt. Rectangular black label on left hip. ENGINEERED in large gold capitalised letters, occupying two-thirds of the upper left-hand side of the label and bordered in gold. Remaining third comprises a gold flower logo. Two gold lines underneath above a ten-character serial number in gold. AERO-FIT in capitalised pure-platinum lettering on right hip on the back of the shirt. Obsidian shorts, with thin, curved white line running down from the hem of the shirt, down the seams, before bordering a Speed Red panel on the rear side of the seam, with both ending on the front side of the v-cut hem. White number, bordered in obsidian, on left thigh in same font as on the shirt, and Speed Red Swoosh below it. Emblem on right thigh with a gold star above it. Speed Red socks, with two obsidian hoops and a Speed Red hoop bordered in white between them, with an obsidian Swoosh below them. ENG in obsidian across the back of the calf.

The new red change kit for the 2026 World Cup finals was notable for the liberal inclusion of obsidian (dark blue), including the shorts which were, perhaps, interchangeable with the white shorts worn with the home kit. Wearing blue shirts with red shirts and socks was a combination only worn by England on three previous occasions, the last of which was an embarrassing defeat in Boston in the 1993 US Cup.
