Birth Wednesday, 20 July 1938 in Glazebury, Lancashire [registered in Leigh, Lancashire, September 1938] to Richard and Ellen (née Jacklin)
Attended Culceth Secondary Modern School and Leigh Grammar School
First marriage to Patricia E. O'Brien [registered in Leigh, Lancashire, September 1959]. Two children, David and Julie. They lived in Culcheth and divorced in 1981.
Patricia was born in Dublin, graduated from Trinity College Dublin with BA degree in legal science and a MA degree. Also a Bachelor of Laws from University of Ottawa and a Barrister-at-Law from Kings Inn, Dublin.
Second marriage to Rowan Green [registered in Leigh, Lancashire, September 1959].
Death Monday evening, 27 September 2021, at his home in Warrington, Cheshire, aged 83 years 69 days.
Funeral 11.00am, Thursday, 14 October 2021 at The Anglican Catherdal in Liverpool. Cremated at Anfield Crematorium.

Playing Career
Club(s) Played schoolboy football in Lancashire and his junior football with Croft YC. He played for The Army during his National Service. He was playing in the Mid-Cheshire League with Stockton Heath FC, and turning out for Devizes Town FC and Bury FC, when he signed on as a Liverpool FC amateur on 29 July 1958, turning professional in July 1959. Following his success with the Anfield club, Nat Lofthouse made three attempts in a fortnight to lure Hunt away, and he joined Bolton Wanderers FC on 16 December 1969 for £34,000 at the fourth time of asking, ahead of a late attempt by Blackburn Rovers FC. He announced his retirement from the game on 10 May 1972.
