First Marriage to Lily Baden White in spring 1942 at St. Paul's Church in Salford [registered in Salford, June 1942 ]. Lily died on 24 November 1977
Second Marriage to Elsie Knox in spring 1979 at Macclesfield Register Office [registered in Macclesfield, June 1979]. Elsie died in September 1996.
Death 20 February 1997 in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, aged 78 years 40 days [registered in Macclesfield, February 1997].

Club Career

Club(s) Pearson began playing his football with Adelphi Lads Club in the Manchester & District Amateur League. He joined his local senior club, Manchester United FC, on amateur forms in 1935, turning professional in May 1936. He remained with United until he joined Bury FC in February 1954. He joined Chester FC in October 1957, he retired from playing after getting the managers job in April 1959, a position he relinquished in November 1961.
