Pearson began playing his football with Adelphi Lads Club in the
Manchester & District Amateur League. He joined his local senior club,
Manchester United FC, on amateur forms in 1935, turning professional in
May 1936. He remained with United until he joined Bury FC in February
1954. He joined Chester FC in October 1957, he retired from playing after
getting the managers job in April 1959, a position he relinquished in
November 1961. |
