Stoke Boys' Brigade before joining Stoke City FC firstly as an amateur,
then turned professional on 27 November 1956. Despite both Everton FC and
Chelsea FC offering �£30,000 to buy Allen in December 1959,
Allen moved to Bury FC on 8
October 1970 for £10,000 until November 1971. Moved to South Africa
with Hellenic FC of Cape Town, from February 1972. Returned to
England in October 1973, turning out for Stafford Rangers FC and Nantwich
Town FC. |
