All information is complete
to and including England's last match, the twentieth of the 2020-21 season, against
Italy on 11 July 2021
Diary
Thursday, 26 August 2021, 2.00pm -
Gareth Southgate's names his 26 man squad for the upcoming World Cup
qualifying matches against Hungary, Andorra and Poland. It includes a
first call-up for Leeds United's forward Patrick Bamford, and recalls
for Manchester United's Jesse Lingard and Burnley's Nick Pope.
Monday, 30 August
2021 - As the England squad turn up to St. George's Park, they
do so without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has remained with his club
suffering from a thigh injury sustained in Everton's win over Brighton
& Hove Albion on Saturday. He will not be replaced.
Thursday, 2
September 2021 - England's win is tarnished by ugly scenes as
missiles such as cans of beer, were thrown onto the pitch, whilst
there were more claims of racist chanting towards the Raheem Sterling
and Jude Bellingham, which will be investigated by FIFA.
