Playing Career |

Began as a six year old at Aston Villa FC. Joining the academy
in July 2016. During which he also played Gaelic football for John
Mitchel's Hurling & Camogie Club, between 2005 and 2010. He also
represented Warwickshire GAA. After becoming a member of the matchday
substitutes bench, Grealish was sent out on loan to Notts County FC on 13
September 2013, initially for four months, but eventually for the whole
season, returning to Villa to make his debut by the close of the season.
On 7 January 2016, Leeds United AFC rejected the opportunity to sign
Grealish on loan. Grealish was appointed as club captain from March 2019.
On 5 August 2021, Manchester City FC broke the British transfer fee record
when they signed Grealish for £100million. |
